Predicting WrestleMania 35 Matches (One Year Out)
3. Braun Strowman Vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Title)
The past few months have cast Roman Reigns as the biggest loser in WWE. He's a serial choke artist - someone whose inability to win the big one now defines him, and after several maulings by Brock Lesnar's hand, his stock is at an all time low.
Does this spell the end for his main event push? Probably not. It's unlikely that WWE would spend the past three-to-four years building Roman up as 'The Guy' only to tear him down in such spectacular fashion. Whether the fans accept him or not, WWE are going to build Reigns back up again, and while he's set to spend most of summer feuding with Jinder Mahal, he'll eventually work his way back into the Universal Title picture.
WWE will need someone to look after the big red belt should Brock Lesnar depart for the UFC, as has been speculated. Enter Braun Strowman. He's already Raw's hottest star, and a far stronger 'Guy' candidate than Roman, given his popularity. him taking the belt from Lesnar later this year, holding into 2019, and reprising his excellent feud with Reigns would work perfectly.
