Predicting WWE's Top 10 Stars In 2020

9. Zack Sabre Jr.

Let’s go with a riskier pick here and go with a guy that’s not even in the company. More so than ever, WWE is giving an honest chance to smaller wrestlers. We’ve seen guys like Daniel Bryan and Finn Balor receive big pushes over the past few years, and with Triple H’s influence growing, expect that to trend to continue.

Sabre did appear in the Cruiserweight Classic, but didn’t sign on for a full-time deal. He’s doing nicely for himself on the indy scene, and is probably enjoying the freedom of being able to pick the dates he wants to work. However, for the right price you can imagine he’d join WWE on the main roster. It just seems like a waiting game at this point. If given the chance, and made the right offer, he will likely excel there, just as he has everywhere else he's been.

He’s a likable, normal guy which is something that still gets over in today's wrestling, just look back to Bryan for proof. He may not have the company built around him, but he could be the star of the Cruiserweight Division or an underdog Heavyweight Champ with the right push in the coming years.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
