2. Triple H Vs. The Rock
Many predicted that Triple H would square off with The Rock at WrestleMania 32 due to events that occurred just over one year earlier at 'Mania 31; confronting both 'The Game' and Stephanie McMahon with Ronda Rousey, The Rock teased the possibility of facing his old rival one more time.
Earlier, on the 10 October 2014 episode of SmackDown, The Rock and Triple H had come face to face during a tense backstage segment that hinted of a WrestleMania match to come.
Neither incident led to anything in-ring other than the aforementioned excuse to trumpet Rousey's attendance at 'Mania 31, and there's been no interaction between Rock and Triple H since.
That could all change before WrestleMania 34, because now WWE have a backlog of footage they can pull from to explain why the match is happening. Triple H and The Rock had their first televised matches back as early as 1997, so the opportunity is there to rekindle a rivalry that has always been on the back burner.
If nothing else, putting Hollywood's leading man in another marquee match at 'Mania would draw interest from lapsed fans.
