2. Goldberg Vs. Big E (Goldberg Retires If He Loses/WWE Championship)

Dread it. Run from it. Da Man will still arrive come 'Mania season all the same.

Goldberg hasn't had what you'd class as the most stellar World Championship match record in recent times, failing to win a bout over a big strap in his last three attempts. But, do you think that'll make the boss think twice about putting what he sees as one of his "main attractions" in a marquee match-up come 'Mania 38? You already knew the answer before finishing the question.

And, after coming to the conclusion that having Big E lose the WWE Championship strap to anyone right now is a big ol' no-no in your writer's books, it seems like a very real possibility that The New Day man may indeed get his wish to test his mettle against the one-time WCW titan.

Taking things up a notch, and likely depending on Bill's contract situation, why not have the former WCW World Champion put his career on the line after the champ claims that his potential challenger has no right to call for a shot at the gold? It's something Big E himself has already hinted at in interviews, and it would no doubt be a surreal moment for the champ if he's the guy to retire his self-professed "favourite wrestler" as a kid.

Giving Big E a massive notch on his belt in knocking off Da Man is a no-brainer, and having Goldberg go out in a blaze of glory would likely be a crowd-pleaser too. Just don't do a Fiend, Vince... please.
