Predicting WWE WrestleMania 39 Cards 1 Year Out

8. Bianca Belair Vs Charlotte Flair

Despite reports of backstage heat and unprofessional conduct last year, Charlotte Flair’s place as a top star in the women’s division seems just as secure as ever. This year she was picked to face a returning Ronda Rousey and managed, in a surprise result, to retain her title. We can expect an equally prominent role next year.

Bianca Belair meanwhile, despite an unnecessary SummerSlam setback, has been firmly established as a big deal in her own right. “The EST of WWE” has delivered two stand out WrestleMania performances in two years, winning the Raw Women’s title each time. But so far she’s proven more inspiring on the chase than holding the belt.

WWE could do a lot worse than repeat the trick a third year running. Have Bianca drop the belt at some point over the next twelve months and, next April, she can take on her third heel horsewoman for a title.
