Predicting WWE's WrestleMania 35 Card After Royal Rumble 2019

8. Bobby Lashley Vs. Finn Bálor (Intercontinental Title)

Realistically, Finn Bálor was never going to upset Brock Lesnar's Universal Title reign at the Rumble, and he was never going to prolong his main event stay beyond Phoenix. There are a few reasons for that, including the fact that new Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley needs a rival to work with.

Enter Finn, otherwise known as WWE's Mr. Dependable.

WWE know Bálor will work hard to shine on the biggest platform of the year, and he's fully capable of pulling the best match possible from Lashley. Anyone who watched big Bob's TNA run will know he's excellent when motivated, and the prospect of a sleeper hit over a classic title with such a switched-on worker should excite him.

Do not be surprised if titchy hype man Lio Rush leaps into the ring, accidentally costs his man the gold then takes a pasting from Lashley. Although that'd be a rapid turnaround on their fairly recent union, we wouldn't put it past the writers.
