R-Truth was injured during last night's episode of WWE NXT.

The Monday Night Raw star was in the middle of a match with Grayson Waller when he appeared to injure his knee or lower leg performing a dive over the top rope to the floor.

The show went to picture-in-picture as both were selling, but it quickly became clear that Truth needed medical attention and the match was ultimately stopped and awarded to Waller.

The severity of the injury has yet to be reported, but Truth needed to be helped out of the arena by staff, seemingly unable to put any weight on the injured wheel and walk on his own steam. Truth had appeared in a segment with Baron Corbin and JBL on Monday's Raw, and had interacted with respective NXT World, North American and Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker, Wes Lee and Pretty Deadly just minutes earlier.

After the match abruptly concluded, the Australian star cut a promo toasting his victory, which may well have been planned for after an intended win over the veteran. Naturally, it generated substantially more heat in light of the circumstances.
