By the time last night’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV came to a close, Peter Rosenberg walked out of the event as the new 24/7 Championship.

As is commonplace with this title, though, Rosenberg’s 24/7 reign didn’t last all that long – with Truth having now reclaimed his most prized possession.

With Rosenberg appearing on The Michael Kay Show, R-Truth – with a referee in tow – entered the room from a balcony, going on to attack Rosenberg and pin him for the 1-2-3. In regaining the 24/7 Title here, that now makes Truth a 47-time holder of this particular piece of championship gold.

It wasn’t just Peter Rosenberg who R-Truth lost the 24/7 Championship to yesterday, of course, for Alicia Fox was the first person to trade the belt back and forth with the comedy figure. Having clearly not learnt his lesson, Truth found himself pinned by Rosenberg later in the night.

Given from what we’ve consistently seen from the 24/7 Title since it debuted in May 2019, it seems only fair to expect at least a few more title changes later tonight during WWE Raw.
