Randy Orton Joins The Wyatt Family At WWE Live Event

Is The Viper's indoctrination complete?

Last week's WWE SmackDown Live saw the ongoing Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt feud turn on its head when The Viper interfered in Wyatt's No DQ match with Kane not to cost him, but help him.

Orton nailed Kane with an RKO to gift Wyatt the pinfall, then made a swift exit. Asked about the incident later, Orton kept it simple: "if you can't beat them, join them." His words left the audience confused, but if last night's WWE Live Event in Allentown, PA is anything to go by, the Orton/Wyatt Family allegiance is legit.

While Raw's superstars stole the headlines at Hell In A Cell, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper returned Orton's Tuesday favour by hitting the ring during his Street Fight with Kane. They provided the distraction, and it was all Randy needed to hit the RKO and seal the win.

The Wyatt/Orton story has attracted plenty criticism for its repetition and Wyatt's increasingly cartoonish act, but things just took a sharp left turn. There's every possibility that Randy is attempting to swerve the Wyatts, but for now, it looks like he has been indoctrinated by Bray's megalomania. Wherever this story is heading, there'll surely be plenty of twists and turns along the way.
