When you talk about unrealized potential, one of the wrestlers who has to spring to mind is Angel Garza.

The Lethal Lothario certainly has a natural charisma about him that could carry the luchador far – if WWE doesn’t manage to screw it up. He debuted on Raw in February, when it looked like he was just pinch-hitting for a few weeks to feud with his cousin Humberto Carrillo. However, Garza stuck around, getting a tag title shot at WrestleMania 36 and becoming part of one of the most ineffective stables ever, Zelina Vega’s gang of underachievers.

After a dismal time partnering and fighting with Andrade, Garza disappeared from TV, only to resurface recently more heavily leaning on his “lothario” persona and actually winning matches.

As with many superstars on this list, ranking Angel is tough, but despite a disappointing start to the year, we’ll grade on the curve for potential.
