Main Event: Seth Rollins (C) versus Sting What Happened: After losing the United States Championship to John Cena, Seth Rollins was immediately forced to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sting. Rollins managed to beat "The Vigilante," but Money in the Bank briefcase holder Sheamus ran in to cash in his contract. Before he could begin his own title match, though, Kane - who had been taken out by Rollins earlier in the summer - made his return. He chokeslammed Rollins, and when Sheamus encouraged him to do it again, "The Demon" laid Mr. Money in the Bank out with the same move. Why It Sucked: If he hadn't already, Seth Rollins proved himself to be one of the best workers in the world with 30-plus minutes of action against two very different opponents. Even after Sting suffered a severe neck injury in the main event, Rollins was able to take charge of the situation and finish the bout in a satisfactory manner. All of that was forgotten when Kane - who had already spent too much time in 2015 overshadowing Rollins - returned and attacked him. To make matters worse, Sheamus - who would win the WWE Championship two months later - was fed to the past-his-expiration-date Kane in similar fashion.
