8. Payback (May 17): ...Kane...
Main Event: Seth Rollins (C) versus Roman Reigns versus Dean Ambrose versus Randy Orton What Happened: After a Shield-style triple powerbomb on Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns turned their attention to Seth Rollins. Kane attempted to interfere on Rollins's behalf, but both Authority members were put through a table. Reigns and Ambrose fought until their opponents rejoined them, but Kane was the difference-maker - he took out Reigns and Ambrose, and while he did fall victim to an RKO once again, that gave Rollins the opportunity to hit Orton with a Pedigree and score the pin. Why It Sucked: For the second consecutive time, Kane saved Seth Rollins's title reign - and here, it was at the expense of three men (four, if you count Rollins). Kane was portrayed as more dominant than any of the men in the match - especially the WWE Champion - raising questions as to why he was backing up the incompetent Rollins rather than serving as The Authority's chosen champion. Also, the final sequence - where Orton took Kane out with an RKO before immediately falling victim to Rollins - was an exact repeat of Extreme Rules's main event finish.
