11. No Mercy - Wyatt Family Values

If there's one think WWE absolutely hate these days, it's a clean, fair pay-per-view finish. No Mercy certainly wasn't the worst, but the October show's conclusion undoubtedly left a sour taste in the mouth, and it completely flopped with the crowd.

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton was shunted into the main event spot after the WWE Championship match was repositioned as a show opener. The ending would have come off a whole lot better had the duo wrestled a compelling match, but they didn't, and they lost most of the crowd's attention by the time it came around. The feud had lost most of its steam by this point, and Orton vs. Wyatt was a slow, plodding affair.

The lights eventually cut out just as Orton was preparing for an RKO. They came back on, and there was Luke Harper - a face WWE fans hadn't seen for months. This distracted Orton long enough for Wyatt to down him with Sister Abigail, and pick up a longer overdue pay-per-view victory.

The feud, match, and lukewarm reception to Harper's re-emergence all conspired to make this a disappointing ending to a solid PPV. The Wyatt Family have since recovered their lost steam this year, but No Mercy's conclusion was a real low-point in SmackDown's excellent half-year.
