Ranking 22 WWE Debuts And Returns In 2021
12. Mansoor
For a brief period, it looked like WWE was going to do
something useful with Mansoor. The superstar amassed an impressive undefeated
streak that stretched back to 2019.
Then he showed up on Raw this spring and lost his debut match via DQ. *groan*
But Mansoor caught the eye of Mustafa Ali, who tried to give him “tough love” lessons about being a WWE superstar, which led to them becoming a tag team. The duo never really had any serious momentum, but they got some TV time here and there, which was better than some wrestlers could say. The inevitable breakup led to a match between the two at Crown Jewel, where Mansoor won in his home country.
Since heading to SmackDown, Mansoor has been sparingly used outside of a body in two battle royals. But the Saudi superstar showed flashes this year that could serve him well if given the opportunity.
