How do you properly grade a guy who serves mainly as the hype man for the Intercontinental Champion?

Rick Boogs has been something of an anomaly on the SmackDown roster, as he had the physique that should make him a candidate for a singles breakout performance. But instead, Boogs came up in May as a guitar-wielding hype man for Shinsuke Nakamura, playing the IC champ to ringside and cheering him on.

We’ve also seen Boogs team up with Nakamura, giving the act extra dimension as a tag team, though that hasn’t produced any notable success for Boogs. Still, he’s had a relatively entertaining turn on the main roster thus far, and sadly, as a lot of these ratings go, not being horrifically screwed up is a mild success compared to the alternative.
