Ranking All 20 WWE July PPVs - From Worst to Best

5. Fully Loaded 2000

This was the first Pay Per View to technically bill a €œtriple main event,€ as the upper card of the WWF was stacked in the year 2000, which is actually crazy to think about considering Stone Cold Steve Austin missed the majority of the year with a neck injury. The Undertaker and Kurt Angle had their first ever matchup, and Kurt was all over the place on this Pay Per View, as the love triangle storyline with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was still in full swing. The Rock defended the WWF Championship against Chris Benoit in the main event, and they did a dusty finish ending with Benoit winning the belt, only to have the match restarted. But the real gem of this show was the Last Man Standing match between Chris Jericho and Triple H. In a year full of great matches, this was a brutal Match of the Year candidate and proved that Jericho could hold down a spot at the very top of the card. In addition, there was a surprisingly good steel cage match between Rikishi and Val Venis for the Intercontinental Title that had Rikishi doing a splash from the top of the cage. It really came out of nowhere.
