Ranking All 20 WWE July PPVs - From Worst to Best

6. Money In The Bank 2012

It€™s tough to put a PPV that ends with €œJohn Cena wins again, LOL€ and this face as the big moment this high on our list, but everything other than the Cena MITB win was fantastic on this show. One of the more underrated surprises of 2012 was the CM Punk/Daniel Bryan feud which produced two excellent Pay Per View matches for the WWE Championship, including this one. Bryan wore the Taxi Driver outfit for the first and only time in his career for this no disqualification championship match. And although AJ Lee as guest referee took away slightly from the brilliance of the two best wrestlers in the company, they put on a great match that went nearly 30 minutes. The opening Money in the Bank match was one of the best matches in the history of the gimmick, and despite being a heel, Dolph Ziggler€™s win was met with an extremely positive reaction. Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio also put on a good match for the World Heavyweight Championship, and although the feud itself was almost devoid of heat, the matches were always solid, and Sheamus quietly put together a solid portfolio of matches in 2012.
