18. Elimination Chamber (2010)

John Cena wins the opening Chamber match and becomes WWE Champion. Then Vince McMahon sends Batista out to immediately maul him for the belt. Batista's win begins a trend of the heels winning for the remainder of the night, making the event a downer. Cena's Chamber match is decent, but tends to drag. It's another show where roster thinness is evident from the overloaded Chamber bouts. RECOMMENDED MATCH: The closing Chamber bout for the World Heavyweight title, as won by Chris Jericho. The Undertaker was champion going in, and was nearly burned alive by an errant pyrotechnic explosion, which Jericho details further in his third book. With CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and John Morrison working extended periods in the match, it's never dull. Plus the ending is pretty intuitive, and sets up WrestleMania XXVI.
