Ranking All 20 WWE September PPVs – From Worst To Best

6. Unforgiven 2000

The year 2000 was top-to-bottom one of the best years for WWF Pay Per Views. The 2000 edition of Unforgiven was no different, as it featured a solid four corner main event with The Rock, Chris Benoit, The Undertaker and Kane. They teased a Benoit title win (as they did a couple months earlier at Fully Loaded), but ultimately The Rock prevailed. The Triple H/Kurt Angle/Stephanie McMahon love triangle storyline culminated in a hard-hitting match with Mick Foley as the guest referee where Triple H was cheered as a babyface for the first time since his DX days in early 1999. In addition, Steve Austin returned after nearly a year off from neck surgery and stunned Shane McMahon. It was great to see the Rattlesnake back. Also, The Hardy Boyz finally got the big win in their feud with Edge and Christian, as they beat them in a tag team steel cage match for the tag team titles.
