Best Match: John Cena vs. Kevin Owens Worst Match: Big Show vs. Ryback When the Money in the Bank concept was first introduced over a decade ago at WrestleMania it was a fresh, exciting gimmick match that reinvigorated a rapidly staling traditional ladder match. The competitors wowed us with inane spots that wed never seen before and the bout became a yearly staple of WWE. But like all things, the Money in the Bank match was susceptible to overkill and thats exactly whats happened the last few years. As a standalone bout to enhance a show its brilliant, but loading up an entire PPV with them is not a great idea. That being said, this years Money in the Bank was one of the better shows WWE produced in 2015. The trilogy of John Cena/Kevin Owens bouts was the standout here, as it was on any card the two were booked against each other. The two have excellent chemistry together and all of their contests have been classics. The main event of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose facing off in a ladder match was yet another installment in their epic feud, with this match doing a lot to legitimize both men as top stars. The Money in the Bank ladder match for the briefcase was very good; not great, but loses points for giving us Sheamus with the briefcase which gave birth to Sheamus the champion, and no one wanted to see that. All in all, this was a very good show with some low points (Big Show/Ryback, R-Truth/Barrett in their best of 364 series) that fared well crtically.
