Ranking Every 2019 WWE PPV From Worst To Best
1. Extreme Rules
The Good: 'The Graveyard Dogs' pairing of Roman Reigns and The Undertaker contested one of the best main roster matches of the year against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. A No Holds Barred Sports Entertainment spectacle for the ages, it took every shortcut but did so at 100mph, resulting in a showcase so thrilling that it rehabilitated The Undertaker's legacy after several wonky years. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were at long last good together - their tag main event against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans was the best moment from an otherwise-tepid feud. AJ Styles and Ricochet had the best match of their own mini-run, a Kevin Owens squash win over Dolph Ziggler was morbidly hilarious, whilst The New Day's Triple Threat Tag Team Championship win over Daniel Bryan/Rowan and Heavy Machinery was a flashback to the SmackDown doubles division operating at its 2017 peak. As was a Revival/Usos scorcher that had the task of following the aforementioned Undertaker opener.
The Bad: Kofi Kingston had another disappointing WWE Championship match, but his battle with Samoa Joe was at least functional, even if it proved to be one of the only drab things on the whole show.
The Ugly: A mini-arc to reset for SummerSlam had started at Money In The Bank when Brock Lesnar won the briefcase, and his inevitable cash-in here still made for a tough watch.
