6. Jon Moxley Vs. Eddie Kingston (Dynamite #52)

This ruled.

Jon Moxley vs. Eddie Kingston was never, in a million years, going to fail. In a way, though, it did more than it needed to, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Moxley needed that beastly challenger that would leave you thinking, "Hey, maybe this is the guy".

Kingston may not have actually won the title on the 23 September Dynamite, but he certainly left his mark on 'The Purveyor of Violence'. Literally. Both he and Mox walked back through the tunnel looking worse for wear, with Kingston's shoulder bruised severely not too far into the match, while Mox's chest was lit red with Kings Road-esque chops.

That Eddie turned purple while trapped in the concluding Bulldog Choke tells its own story.

Additionally, both the pre and post-match segments made sense. Eddie proclaimed he was deserving of a title shot, not only because of his lack of elimination from All Out's Casino Battle Royale, but rather due to the hard work he's put in the past eighteen years. After the bell, Kingston, Ricky Starks, and The Lucha Bros stood tall over Moxley, Darby Allin, and Will Hobbs, which furthered more rivalries than it began with.

Keep in mind that this match only happened because Lance Archer was forced to pull out after testing positive, and you realise just how incredible both Kingston and Moxley are at their job.
