Ranking Every Champion In WWE Right Now

4. The New Day - WWE Tag Team Champions

The New Day have got to be three of the best guys going in the WWE today. They€™re absolutely hilarious, and it€™s definitely a smart idea to start the year off with these guys as champions. The fact that it€™s given Kofi Kingston some direction after all these years is astounding, and I didn€™t think it would ever be so much fun to see him, a guy who used to be the most people-friendly wrestler on the roster, belittling cities and making a mockery of people. I also didn€™t expect to see him wearing a unicorn horn, but I€™m not complaining. I know there are a tonne of New Day fans out there, but I will admit that there have been times where the trio of Kingston, Big E and Woods felt like a little too much, particularly in matches that would otherwise be really entertaining if not for the action stopping every minute for some comic relief. But more often than not, the three men know when to let the action in the ring speak for itself. Having Woods on the outside instead of in the ring most of the time is probably their smartest decision since the guy is so damn loud. The New Day have been champions since SummerSlam, and although they are goofy as hell, they€™ve been able to deliver some top tier tag-team action in between the giggles. The Dudley Boyz, The Usos and The Lucha Dragons are just a couple of examples of team that they€™ve had some really entertaining bouts against, and I think it€™s safe to say they€™ve done really well as champions up to this point. Personally, I would love to see their next opponents be Enzo amore and Colin Cassady from NXT, but until then, all we can do is hope and enjoy the gift that is The New Day.
