Ranking Every ECW Champion In History - From Worst To Best
7. Justin Credible
Next up we have another one-reign wonder, but again like Bigelow, this was a fairly impressive one-reign.
Justin Credible’s tenure with the title was certainly credible, if not incredible, clocking in at 162 days and featuring a total of 18 successful defences. The run began on Apr. 22, 2000 when Credible defeated Tommy Dreamer, ending the latter’s reign in a matter of minutes, and was eventually halted by Jerry Lynn on Oct. 1 at the Anarchy Rulz 2000 PPV.
Amongst the 18 successful defences were a host of former ECW Champions, such as Dreamer, Sandman, Raven and Corino, as well as future WWE colleagues such as Lance Storm and Tajiri. With a list of scalps like that, plus a lengthy reign that only five others can claim to have ever topped, it’s fair to say that as ECW Champion he proved himself worthy of his name.
