To summarise some more key callouts from the Sandman’s championship resumé, his longest reign lasted 196 days and featured 23 defences along the way, while he also had the most enduring career of all former ECW champions.
Sandman won his maiden world title as early as November 1992, with his final triumph arriving almost a decade later in January 2001.
