It should be noted that The Authority never officially held the title of Raw general manager; Triple H and Stephanie McMahon already had power within the company. But Stephanie did serve as Raw GM for a time in November 2008, taking over for Mike Adamle when he quit the company. At least with her, you knew she was going to deliver her lines well and was capable of playing the part.

After all, Stephanie was the first ever general manager in SmackDown's history, so she was certainly qualified for the position. Unlike the current incarnation of her character, she wasn't out to embarrass every babyface and heel on the roster. Rather, she brought credibility to the position and did her best to remain as neutral as possible.

She technically reigned as Raw GM from November 2008 to April 2009, though she spent the last two months off television due to an attack from Randy Orton. But before that, she was prominently featured on the flagship show in a mini-feud with Chris Jericho. After he was fired from the show, he had to beg the Billion Dollar Princess to get his job back on an episode of Raw in Chicago.

And it was one of the most entertaining segments in quite some time.
