Goldberg has spent almost the entirety of his career winning matches in quick order. That trademark style was what got him over with the crowd during his legendary winning streak in WCW.

Winning in 22 seconds over Universal Champion Kevin Owens, however, is quite different, and not for the better. The Prizefighter had been on the run of his career following his first world championship win in WWE and had just had one of the best segments in Raw history in The Festival of Friendship. Only his second singles match back in WWE, this bout was the first of many times Goldberg would be chosen to go over the current stars of Raw and SmackDown.

A distraction by Chris Jericho, a Spear, a Jackhammer and Goldberg had successfully buried the second ever Universal Champion. It was clear WWE wanted Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar for WrestleMania, but burying Kevin Owens in this fashion was the wrong way to do it.
