Ranking Every Hell In A Cell Match In WWE History - From Worst To Best

17. Daniel Bryan Vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton’s victory over Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell 2013 seems to be something of an opinion splitter, so I’ve made the executive decision of ranking this one smack bang in the middle of this list.

Overall this was a perfectly good match, however it was somewhat marred by the finish. After Bryan had taken out an intervening Triple H, special guest referee Shawn Michaels looked to avenge his former DX crony, hitting Bryan with some Sweet Chin Music and costing him the match-up.

Not only that, but this was essentially the third successive screwing that Bryan had been subjected to; Triple Hhad turned on him at SummerSlam a few months back, and he was then stripped of the title after Night of Champions on account of a fabricated conspiracy with Scott Armstrong.

Still, I guess all of those wrongdoings are part of the reason the WrestleMania XXX storyline was so impactful in the end, so perhaps we should look at this one a little bit more favourably...
