12. The Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar (2015)

Earlier I commended Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt for the extremes they went to at Hell in a Cell 2015, but judging by our next entry, in hindsight I may have been a little generous.

The very same night that Reigns and Wyatt went to war, the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar took that same phrase and put their own unique spin on it.

We saw blood, chairs, steel steps, numerous ground and pounds, as well as a throwback to some of their previous skirmishes with Lesnar’s vicious low blow to ‘Taker.

But for me, the most memorable moment came towards the contest’s conclusion, as Lesnar took the unprecedented step of tearing up the ring canvass to expose the wooden slats beneath. Initially the plan had seemingly backfired, after he took a chokeslam and a tombstone for his troubles, but he’d soon return the favour with F5 to the wood to score the victory and end what had evolved into quite the saga.
