15. Johnny Gargano Vs. KUSHIDA

Orton Fiend Moxley Fenix

Piss-poor.

This is quintessentially NXT post-2019.

The match will be great. Nobody is saying the match won't be great. This doesn't make NXT great. NXT just increasingly uses its resources to hire great wrestlers.

There's a Champion. Somebody beats the champion in a tag. Twice, in this case, telegraphing the result. This leads to a match. There's no hatred, emotion, drama, mystery, intrigue, no discernible entertainment value of any kind - just "Hey these guys are taking turns to fight ahead of a match".

Unacceptably drab and formulaic.
