Ranking Every MVP Of Every Major Wrestling Company
1. Others...
Since "Major" isn't quantifiable, instead, those that might warrant inclusion will be added here as a postscript.
Pro Wrestling NOAH's MVP is Go Shiozaki. The reigning GHC Heavyweight Champion, he is a dependable draw for the company's thinned-out base owing to a bond forged through consistency and loyalty. Major League Wrestling's Jacob Fatu is a huge get for the promotion on a long-term basis. Raw but awesome in the strictest definition, he will one day be a massive star elsewhere. Mayu Iwatani is STARDOM's Ace - a tremendous babyface and storyteller - though this may be challenged in the short term, given the company's recent, big ambitions.
PROGRESS is in a strange position. It doesn't much need an MVP, now that its Electric Ballroom residency no longer feels much like a legacy. The company is fully part of the WWE protective ecosystem. No stars have truly emerged in the wake of the Ospreays, Havocs and WALTERs because they don't necessarily need one. Cara Noir? He's hot in a cold world. GCW is Nick Gage's territory - it's an on-the-nose take, but he best represents its outlaw spirit.
OTT is David Starr's house now, the suitable face of its awesome defiance of the encroaching WWE machine. There isn't not a link there, but its too popular to be tainted by the monolith, unlike the rest of the industry in this part of the world.
