Legacy star (bit of a double-edged meaning to that given his old stable!) Randy Orton is an asset to whichever show he finds himself on. He's versatile, and doesn't really need to be involved in top programs to be useful in 2024. That said, Orton didn't need to be announced as one of the picks in this year's Draft.
WWE could've got away with putting a finger to their lips and booking Randy as a SmackDown star without anyone batting an eyelid. They didn't need to make a big deal out of his standing on the roster, so this goes down as another wasted pick.
