Ranking Every NXT TakeOver Special - From Worst To Best
2. TakeOver: Brooklyn
The Highlights: The first five NXT live specials were all incredible, but TakeOver had yet to travel outside of Florida. Thus, with SummerSlam emanating from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the timing could not have been better for the black-and-yellow brand to emerge as the hottest commodity in all of wrestling.
From the NXT Tag Team Championship changing hands to Jushin 'Thunder' Liger wrestling his first WWE match to Apollo Crews arriving on the scene, the undercard was filled with incredible moments.
The NXT Championship Ladder match between Kevin Owens and Finn Bálor definitely delivered in being a complete war from bell to bell, but the true main event was Bayley vs. Sasha Banks. Their five star mat classic featured some of the best storytelling WWE has done in years and saw Bayley finally reach the mountaintop by becoming the new NXT Women's champion.
The Low Points: As much of a treat as Liger vs. Tyler Breeze was, it didn't do anything to elevate Breeze, nor was the match as good as it could have been. The Vaudevillians winning the tag titles was cool as well, but only the final few minutes made it memorable.
