Ranking Every Randy Orton WrestleMania Match - From Worst To Best
1. Daniel Bryan Vs. Batista Vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania XXX)
For all the wins, all the spots, all the high-profile matches that Randy Orton’s been a part of at WrestleMania, it’s difficult to look beyond his involvement in the main event of WrestleMania XXX as his greatest outing on the company’s biggest stage.
There, he defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Batista and Daniel Bryan, in a match that produced one of the all-time great pro wrestling coronations. Tying up an angle months in the making, Bryan climbed to the top of the mountain to put behind him a year of being screwed—a run that began at the hands of Orton himself when he cashed in for the belt at SummerSlam 2014.
As well as being the perfect culmination to that story, the match itself was also excellent, something that often gets forgotten along the way. Orton's personal highlight (or it may have been a lowlight, judging by his landing) was the RKO-Batista Bomb hybrid that he and his former Evolution buddy nailed Bryan with.
Though Orton wasn’t victorious in the end, as a spectacle this had everything: an awesome performance, a perfectly-played out angle. He even had Rev Theory play him to the ring, making him look a million bucks as he sauntered down the aisle with both belts in tow.
From top to bottom, it made for a WrestleMania main event that few will ever forget, and one that Orton himself will likely never quite manage to top.
