Edge vs. Chris Jericho - Wrestlemania 26
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x10mjh0_wwe-wrestlemania-26-chris-jericho-vs-edge-world-heavyweight-championship_sport Edge maintained the distinct history of popular stars returning from career threatening injuries to win the Royal Rumble match, much like Shawn Michaels did in 1996, Triple H in 2002, and John Cena in 2008. After winning the 2010 Royal Rumble, Edge didn't immediately announce which title he wanted to challenge for, but soon did after his former friend Chris Jericho won the World Heavyweight title. The two men met at Wrestlemania 26, although it wasn't the final match of the night, as previous Rumble winners had enjoyed. Still, it was an entertaining back and forth contest, and with both men knowing each other so well, there were some nice counters - although I felt as though it could've done with some more and they could have pushed the boat out that little bit further. Edge's injury would eventually come into play, and Jericho's attacks (and a smack round the head with the title) allowed him to hit the Codebreaker on Edge for the win. The match was fun overall, but I get the feeling there's more that could've been done with it. I'm also unsure as to why they didn't incorporate the massive spear through the barricade (that happened after the match) into the match itself, which would have made it stand out even more.
