6. Santana Garrett

After six years of sporadic appearances, Santana Garrett finally signed to NXT in August 2019. The former Brittany had wrestled just about everywhere else, achieving championship gold in SHINE and having a lengthy turn in Impact. Sadly, it was not an achievement her father, indie wrestler Kenny 'TNT Keny G' Garrett, lived to see.

Keny started his career late in life, debuting in 2000 and working mainly out of Florida. Before long, he traded in his boots for the book, launching his own promotion, High Voltage Wrestling, in Northern Illinois. He also helped launch Team Vision Dojo in Florida and was a crucial supporter in Garrett's journey into the squared circle up until his death at 51 in 2018.

Garrett's early flirtations with WWE were as enhancement talent, and since her full-time signing, it doesn't look like there's much in the plans for Garrett going forward. She was briefly called up to Raw before being sent back down and starting a losing streak gimmick. That streak was finally broken in June, but the future remains unseen for the 29-year-old second-gen worker.
