12. Vs. Sheamus - WrestleMania XXVI
Years before the leader of The Authority played his part in helping gift Sheamus with his third WWE Championship reign, the two locked horns on the Grandest Stage in an expectedly physical skirmish.
The headlines were rightly stolen elsewhere by the likes of McMahon vs. Hart and HBK vs. 'Taker II: This Time It's Retirement, but take nothing away from Sheamus' first-ever 'Mania fight night.
Sure, it may have only come about on the back of a flimsy storyline triggered by Trips fending off the dominant newcomer and now-former WWE Champion inside of the Elimination Chamber. But their brawl felt like a rather big deal for the fiery Irishman at the time and still holds up as a violent glimpse at what would become the Great White's calling card for years to come; hitting people really hard.
Again, this being The Game, of course the star of tomorrow Sheamus ended up staring up at the lights when all was said and done. But the hard-hitting ten-or-so-minute tonic and Greatest Hits performance from Trips that preceded said bizarre decision was fun while it lasted.
