Ranking Every Triple H WrestleMania Match From Worst To Best
6. Vs. Shawn Michaels Vs. Chris Benoit - WrestleMania XX
Hitting his real peak as WWE's go-to main event heel from the 20th Show of Shows onwards, a triple-threat that has often been overlooked when looking back on Triple H's legacy as a performer in general, and for good reason, still sits as one of the finest three-way dances in the event's history.
With the two former D-Generation X buddies picking things up where they left off and giving their long-running back-and-forth the 'Mania treatment it clearly warranted, the introduction of a wildly over and Royal Rumble winning Chris Benoit added another explosive element to the mix.
HBK and Benoit piecing together a slick exchange of suplexes and some chain-wrestling, inventive trio spots, a trademark Heart-Break moonsault to the outside, and the World Heavyweight Champion himself putting in perhaps his most technically sound display in-between the ropes to date against two of the finest performers of their generations are all reasons to admire this Madison Square Garden main event.
But in reality, all the epic 'Mania conclusions in the world can't erase the tragic events that eventually would cast an unsettling shadow over the eventual victor's history within the squared-circle.
