Ranking Every Universal Championship Title Change From Worst To Best
4. 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt Wins His First Universal Title
After suffering from the Creative team's awful booking decisions, Bray Wyatt decided to rebuild his character on the TV. He first introduced the world to the Firefly Fun House, and then he changed the game by presenting his alter-ego, 'The Fiend.' There was a lot of a mystery surrounding his new gimmick, but seeing a positive response from the fans, WWE pushed him to the moon.
They announced a Universal title match between Wyatt and Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell. Although the bout did not live up to the expectations, the champion retained his crown. However, he lost the belt to the SmackDown Superstar at Crown Jewel a month later, with Wyatt changing the design of the championship. This title change received a lot of appreciation from the wrestling community as they lauded the organisation's decision to put the title on a wrestler who had worked so hard.
Daniel Bryan and The Miz had exciting rivalries with the new champion, but his title reign culminated in the worst way possible.
