Ranking Every WCW Champion In History - From Worst To Best

9. Diamond Dallas Page

While Savage’s best days came during his time in New York, for Diamond Dallas Page the situation was entirely reversed. DDP propelled himself to stardom with WCW, before being treated like a total jabroni in the aftermath of the 2001 Invasion angle.

Still, luckily this is a WCW list, hence DDP’s spot in the top ten.

Over the years, Page helped himself to three WCW World Heavyweight Championships. Admittedly that isn’t as many as Savage in the previous slide, but unlike Savage, Page didn’t have any WWE pedigree to fall back on; he had to build himself up from pretty much nothing, and even more impressively he did so at such a late stage in his career.

As a big DDP fan, perhaps I’m letting my own personal bias creep into this one slightly—although he’s since pretty much saved the lives of both Scott Hall and Jake Roberts, so I don’t think it’s totally unreasonable to hold the guy in such high regard.
