10. Edge And Vickie Guerrero

Edge was the ultimate opportunist, which is why he wanted to marry the General Manager of SmackDown. In July of 2008, the two made their love official. In a break from other weddings, the show opened up with video from the ceremony, as opposed to having it play out in the middle of the ring. The night revolved around the reception, with tables set up at the top of the stage featuring the entire wedding party.

Edge let the power go to his head right away and began calling the shots to get back at all his enemies. He inserted himself as a special guest referee in the first match on the show, then he made the crowd suffer through a slow dance with his new bride. He also booked the Hardy brothers against each other, and Vickie booked herself to face an already beaten Cherry. It was an abuse of power!

To cap off their night of mayhem, the entire party celebrated in the ring until...get this...someone interrupted! That man was Triple H, who came bearing gifts. Besides his trusty sledgehammer being one of of those presents, he showed a video from a couple days earlier of wedding planner Alicia Fox making out with Edge. How did he get that?

Anyway, there was some fat jokes at Vickie’s expense, which were a bit cruel. Basically there was no pair of underpants big enough to fit her at the lingerie store Edge went to. Ha? Overall, though, this was a nice change of pace from regular wrestling weddings, but the last segment clocked in at nearly 20 minutes alone and began dragging quite badly by the end. Still, Edge, Hunter and Vickie were all solid in their roles and there was a bit of fun to be had from their shenanigans that night.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
