The World Heavyweight Championship will always feel secondary to Roman's Undisputed WWE title. There is literally nothing WWE can do to stop that. All the same, they've done their best - and so has Seth Rollins - to build this new belt up and they should be commended.

Rollins has been one of WWE's most prominent figures and spokespeople in the last decade; a trusted pair of hands safe to be put into any spot needed. With his more wacky recent schtick really getting over, making him the inaugural champ was a no-brainer. And, more than this, Seth has put on consistently thrilling performances against the likes of Priest, McIntyre and Nakamura.

The fact the belt is on a super-over babyface makes it more noteworthy compared to most championships in the fed around the waists of heels. It adds at least a slightly different dynamic, whether main eventing a show or playing second fiddle to Roman.
