Okay, maybe being thorough isn't everything. Rather than write the same entry over and over, let's get this out of the way now: the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship is almost certainly the most forgettable belt out of WWE's cabinet of prizes, not just amongst fans but the booking team too. There have been a grand total of nine women's tag team title matches so far this year, and there's nothing worth saying about really any of it.

That's barely more than Roman Reigns has had matches, and he's just one guy. WWE have an entire roster to find something to do with these titles, and it's the most obvious of afterthoughts.

Considering there have been six reigns, you can do the math. Most teams didn't even successfully defend their championships once. Even duos that didn't suffer injuries (Sonya DeVille, Lita) or had limited schedules (Trish Stratus) barely made use of this prop of a title. It's bounced from team to team, with most reigns lasting about a month. The longest belongs to current champions, at the time of writing, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.

In those three months, they've defended the championship once - and it was on NXT.
