Edge was a pretty good chameleon for the majority of his career in the WWE. He debuted as a mysterious, mostly-silent vampire, then morphed into a giant dork who expertly mocked other giant dorks, and finally into a sexual deviant who thrived on blending his real-life relationship controversies into his in-ring character.

And the dude was one bad mama jama in the ring.

He may not be the all-time greatest perpetrator of the Spear, but he's certainly been responsible for some of the greatest Spear-related moments in WrestleMania history. He speared Mick Foley through a flaming table at WrestleMania 22. He speared Chris Jericho off a table and through a barricade at WrestleMania 26. And, as if you could forget, he speared a dangling Jeff Hardy from a 20-foot ladder at WrestleMania 17.

Edge will be remembered for more than a handful of extreme moments, though. His 14 times as tag champion are the most in WWE history by any individual, and he procured them with six different partners.

He's also an 11-time World Champion, and while some of those reigns were merely "transitional" - intended to drop the title soon after to someone else - Edge always made the best of his time at the top. And most importantly, he never ever looked like he was simply coasting or having an off night.
