13. Booker T

Titles: World Heavyweight Champion, Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, Hardcore Champion, United States Champion

Coming into the WWE, Booker T was the reigning WCW Champion and was keen to remind us all that he was actually a five-time...five-time...five-time champ. (Which...wait, was that supposed to mean he was actually a 15-time champion? I was never really clear on that.)

He quickly moved beyond his fixation on the past, however, and got to work collecting some WWE titles. Oddly though, the first belts he ticked off his list were the tag team titles followed shortly after by the Hardcore Championship. And let's face it, any other WCW transport would've had to murder Vince McMahon's arch nemesis in order to get one of those.

Booker's time with the WWE was always a bit uneven, despite eventually becoming a Grand Slam Champion. His biggest year with the company came in 2006, when he won the King of the Ring and then became the World Heavyweight Champion for the first and only time a couple of months later.

Even though he was a terrific talent - both in the ring and on the mic - Book just never quite got the significant push he deserved. And it's not unreasonable to think that years from now he'll be best remembered for his odd couple partnership with Goldust.
