Ranking Every WWE King Of The Ring 2019 Entrants' Chances Of Winning

12. Cedric Alexander

Don't be shocked and stunned if Cedric Alexander is sacrificed to Drew McIntyre again (just so he can do that amazing Claymore Kick sell) in the opening round. Their mini-feud is there to prepare McIntyre for something more, not Alexander. That doesn't mean Cedric won't be used going forwards though.

Heyman clearly likes him, and he does have potential.

He's one for the future, but that future isn't now. The 2019 King Of The Ring is no time for WWE to experiment with attempts to build someone from zero to hero. It's more about giving fans a fun tournament and a winner who can move up to the main event scene permanently. Alexander, talented though he is, isn't that guy.
