13. Chad Gable

Despite working brilliant matches on 205 Live and showing what he can do in-ring when called upon elsewhere, one Chad Gable is another also-ran in this modern update on King Of The Ring's traditions. The big hope for him here is being able to impress the right people (Paul Heyman, basically) enough that he gets a slice of the storyline pie again.

Mr. Gable might be about to bastardise Karl Anderson's old name on the short-lived Southpaw Regional Wrestling show by becoming "Too Bad Chad" instead of "Chad 2 Badd". His plight shows that sparkling skills as a wrestler aren't always enough.

Maybe someday.
