Ranking Every WWE NXT Commentator From Worst To Best

11. Percy Watson

Granted, the jury is still out on Percy Watson considering he only debuted on NXT commentary a few short months ago. So far, however, he has added absolutely nothing to the product as an announcer.

Originally, Watson appeared on NXT as an in-ring competitor from 2010 to 2013, debuting on the second season of the show when it still carried a competition format. Early on in his NXT stint, he exuded incredible charisma that separated him from the rest of the pack, though his goofy appearance prevented people from taking him seriously.

To boot, he was skilled between the ropes, but he sadly never amounted to anything before being cut from his contract in 2013. Thus, it was that much more of a mystery when he randomly resurfaced in late 2016 as color commentator for NXT. The black-and-yellow brand has had three-man booths before and has made it work, but truth be told, Watson serves virtually no purpose and his presence behind the booth isn't necessary whatsoever.

Again, there is time for him to improve and evolve into a competent commentator, but he has quickly proven these last three months that he may not be long for the job.
