WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Rhea Ripley

The 2023’s women’s Royal Rumble was fine. Nothing more, nothing less.

Rhea Ripley entering at #1 and going the distance on her way to victory is obviously the standout talking point of this particular Rumble, and likewise, Liv Morgan deserves plenty of props for her similar stint, coming out at #2 and being the last person eliminated.

Elsewhere, there was a fun final three sequence also involving Asuka, the shock return of Nia Jax at #30, the uber-brief return of Chelsea Green, Damage CTRL running roughshod for a bit, Michelle McCool memorably entering from the crowd, and a few NXT appearances.

This match was all about priming Rhea Ripley to face Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 39, which is a job it did extremely well.
