Ranking EVERY WWE Royal Rumble Match - From Worst To Best
7. 2007
The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have immaculate chemistry, as seen plentiful times both before and after the 2007 Royal Rumble, and that chemistry was on full display for the final 10 minutes or so at that Rumble.
‘Taker and Michaels were the final two here, putting on a back-and-forth mini-match before the Phenom avoided a Sweet Chin Music and threw Shawn over the top rope. But it was a vastly different story for the two men in this Rumble, with the Heartbreak Kid entering at #23 and scoring five eliminations across his 25 minutes in the match. For the Deadman, he’d enter at #30, quickly eliminate Great Khali and MVP, before getting rid of HBK to become the first person to ever win from that #30 spot.
This was yet another classic Shawn Michaels Royal Rumble performance, and the scintillating energy of Michaels vs. Undertaker helped lift this Rumble from good to great.
Also, props to Sabu for one hell of an elimination, taking a chokeslam to the outside through a table courtesy of Kane.
